Lemony Chicken Spaghetti

We like this as a change to the classic spaghetti. You can substitute a can of asparagus for the peas. If using asparagus, chop it into small pieces. I like it with the asparagus but my kids prefer the peas.

Ingredients

8 oz
uncooked spaghetti
3 Tbsp
butter
2 c
cubed, cooked chicken
2 Tbsp
flour
1 c
milk
3 Tbsp
lemon juice
1 can(s)
peas, drained

Directions Step-By-Step

Cook spaghetti as directed. Drain.

In a saucepan, melt the butter.

Add flour and stir to blend.

Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly.

Add lemon juice and stir to blend.

Add chicken and peas. Stir to mix. Heat through.

Pour chicken mixture over cooked spaghetti.
