Lemony Chicken Spaghetti

We like this as a change to the classic spaghetti. You can substitute a can of asparagus for the peas. If using asparagus, chop it into small pieces. I like it with the asparagus but my kids prefer the peas.

Ingredients

8 oz
uncooked spaghetti
3 Tbsp
butter
2 c
cubed, cooked chicken
2 Tbsp
flour
1 c
milk
3 Tbsp
lemon juice
1 can(s)
peas, drained

Step-By-Step

1Cook spaghetti as directed. Drain.

2In a saucepan, melt the butter.

3Add flour and stir to blend.

4Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly.

5Add lemon juice and stir to blend.

6Add chicken and peas. Stir to mix. Heat through.

7Pour chicken mixture over cooked spaghetti.
