I serve these with blue cheese dressing and slaw on the side.

I cooked these for 1 hour & about 40 minutes. 1 & 1/2 hours indirectly and about 10 minutes directly over the coals.

This is the first time I’ve use Hot Damn on chicken, and now the juices are flowing as to what else I can do with it.

My next creation will be with pork …stay tuned everyone!

Method:

Barbecue

Ingredients

1 package wings { i had a little over 2 pounds }
1 bottle of hot damn
¼ cup honey
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
fine sea salt { 1 teaspoon for the marinade } and some for sprinkling on the wings as they cook.
blue cheese dressing { optional }

Directions Step-By-Step

1
On a very low heat reduce the Hot Damn by ½. Turn the heat off and add the honey, cinnamon, ginger and salt and mix thoroughly and cool.
2
Marinade the wings for at least 3 hours or overnight. The longer they marinade the better they’ll be. I flipped these every 30 minutes or so!
3
Then fire up the ol’ BBQ or grille, and put the wings off to the side { for indirect } cooking, sprinkle with some salt. After you flip them over, sprinkle the other side with some salt. Cook them with the BBQ closed until it’s time to move them to the hot side.
4
Let them rip till they are done and beautifully browned. When they are just about done move them to the hot side of the BBQ and finish browning them. Cooking time will depend on how large the wings are and how hot your BBQ/grille is.
