Grandma always made all her stock , even if it was Vegetable, Beef, or even fish. The stores didn't have ready made stock even if they did Grandma's was better and tasted better, I;m so glad to get her recipe

Ingredients

whole chicken

celery chopped

onion quarted

carrots chopped
s & p to taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Place chicken, celery, onion, and carrots in a large stock pot. Cover with water and bring to a rolling boil.

Skim off excess fat reduce heat and simmer and cook 2 to 3 hours.

Remove chicken and vegetables strain soup using cheese cloth.
