This is a quick recipe to prepare first thing in the morning--only takes 15 minutes. Turn on the slow cooker and when you get home later in the day, dinner is served!

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

2 can(s)
(10 oz. ea.) diced tomatoes & green chilies, undrained
1 can(s)
(15 oz.) tomato sauce
1 can(s)
(15 oz.) whole black beans, drained and rinsed
1 c
frozen whole kernel corn
1 pkg
(1.25 oz.) taco seasoning mix
2 c
water
1 1/2 lb
chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cut into 24 pieces
1 1/2 c
white long-grain rice, uncooked

Directions Step-By-Step

Spray inside of a 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place all ingredients, except rice, in slow cooker. Cover; cook on LOW for 7-1/2 hours or until chicken is tender.

Add rice, stir and cook 30 minutes more or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Stir again before serving.
