Creamy Chicken Rice and Mushrooms

I cook this in a large 7 qt crock pot. If you are using a smaller one just cut the recipe down a bit.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

2-3 large
chicken, boneless and skinless breast
1 can(s)
26 oz. family size can cream of chicken soup
1 can(s)
26 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
2 box
32 oz. boxes chicken broth
3 c
instant rice
2 can(s)
6.5 oz cans of mushrooms (drained)
1 Tbsp
dried celery flakes ( more or less )
1 1/2 tsp
course ground black pepper ( or to your taste)

Directions Step-By-Step

In slow cooker add chicken, soup,chicken broth, mushrooms,celery flakes and pepper. Cook on high for 5-6 hours or until chicken is thoroughly cooked and can be easily shredded with a fork.

Remove chicken and shred. Place chicken back in crock pot.

Turn off crock pot and add rice. Allow to sit for 1/2 an hour or until rice is cooked. Serve and enjoy.
