Chicken and Rice Casserole

This is a recipe from my mom. I'm sure there are probably lots of this type of recipe out there. Still, it's good and better yet, it's easy.

Ingredients

1/2 c
milk (1 or 2%)
1 c
rice, instant white or brown
1/2 pkg
dry onion soup mix
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
4-8
chicken pieces
salt

Step-By-Step

1Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.

2In a large bowl, mix the soups, milk, and rice.

3Pour into an 8x12 casserole dish.

4Place lightly salted chicken pieces on top of the rice.

5Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix over the top of the chicken pieces.

6Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil.

7Bake for one hour.

8Uncover the casserole and bake for another ten minutes.
