Ingredients

1 medium
zucchini
2 small
onion
11/2 lb
ground chuck
1/2 c
rice, cooked or use minute rice
1 c
velvetta cheese
1/2 c
cornflakes or bread crumbs
salt & pepper , to taste
1 dash(es)
oregano, dried
6 oz
tomato paste
3 c
water
1/2 c
brown sugar

Step-By-Step

1Brown meat slightly. Slice zucchini and onions
2With a casserole dish. Layer ' zucchini , onions , meat, rice
3Top with cheese, crumb mixture, and spices
4Mix tomatoe paste , water,sugar in a bowl. Pour liquids all atop entire casserole.
5Bake at 325, 90minutes. Mmm
6I dice the onions. And coarse ly grate or chop zucchini. Use Parmesan in mine and mozzarella ( sometimes fresh rather than grated stuff) I look at this alot as a Parmesan dish- a la chicken Parma , eggplant Parma .....
