- ground beef
- 1. 25 oz.
- packet taco seasoning
- 1 (15 oz.)
- can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup
- chopped green bell pepper
- 1-1/2 cups
- macaroni, cooked and drained
- 1 cup
- (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 3/4 cup
- sour cream
1In a skillet, brown the ground beef, and then drain off any excess grease.
2Return cooked beef to the skillet.
3Stir in the taco seasoning mix, the tomato sauce, and the green peppers.
4Keep stirring the meat mixture while bringing this to a boil.
5Once the taco meat mixture comes to a boil, then remove skillet from the heat.
6Combine together, the macaroni, 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, the and sour cream.
7Place macaroni mixture on bottom of one 2-1/2 to 3 quart casserole baking dish.
8Top macaroni mixture with the meat mixture.
9Sprinkle on the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
10Cover, and bake for 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
