butter
1/2 c

onion,. chopped
3/4 c

green pepper, chopped
1 lb

hot dog, all beef, sliced
1 can

(16 oz.) pork and beans (b and m)
1/3 c

chili sauce
1/3 c

catsup
1 1/2 Tbsp

brown sugar (optional)
1 can

(8 oz.) biscuits
3/4 c

shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make hot dog and baked bean casserole

Cook onion and green pepper in 1 tbsp. butter.

Stir in hot dogs, beans, chili sauce and catsup. For a sweeter flavor, add brown sugar. Simmer 2 minutes.

Spoon hot mixture into an ungreased 9 inch square pan or 12 X 8 inch pan.

Separate biscuit dough into 10 biscuits. Arrange 10 biscuits over hot meat mixture.

Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.

Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until biscuits are golden.
