Chili Rellenos Casserole

Most of the time I make "real" Chili Rellenos, but when I'm short on time I make this recipe.
To me, it's a second to the real ones but I like it.

Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef
1/2
onion, chopped
2 can(s)
whole green chilies
1 can(s)
chopped green chilies
1 c
shredded mexican cheese
4
eggs
1 1/2 c
milk
1/4 c
flour
1 Tbsp
red pepper or to your taste

Directions Step-By-Step

Brown ground meat and onions. Add salt and pepper. Add about 1 Tablespoon red pepper or to your taste.

In a casserole place whole green chilies on bottom. Add half the cheese. Add meat mixture. Add rest of cheese and chopped chilies.

Mix eggs and milk, add flour, mix well. Pour over casserole. Bake at 350* for about 50 minutes. Check on dish about 1/2 way through and cover with foil if getting too brown.
