Ingredients

3 lb
beef chuck roast boneless
2 c
dry red wine divided
2 c
beef broth divided
1 pkg
knorr beef bouillon
3 Tbsp
butter
6 clove
garlic minced

Step-By-Step

1Marinate the beef overnight in one cup red wine, one cup beef broth, and garlic cloves.
2Preheat oven 450 degrees. Place roast in roaster pan with marinate and bake for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 275 degrees cover with foil and bake for 2 hours.
3Remove roast from drippings. Place dripping in sauce pan adding the other cup of red wine and beef broth. Add beef bouillon. Bring to a boil and reduce by half. Stir in butter and serve over meat.
