A different spin on a chili dog. Very tasty. You choose the heat level...... mild, medium or hot salsa.

Ingredients For spicy hot dogs

  • 16 oz. package beef hot dogs
  • 1/2 cup chunky salsa
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (sweet baby ray's)
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

How To Make spicy hot dogs

  • 1
    Cook hot dogs.
  • 2
    Mix salsa and barbecue sauce together in small saucepan; cook over medium heat until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally.

    Serve topped with salsa mixture and onion; sprinkle with grated cheese.
