So Good Hamburger Steak
- 1 lb
- ground beef or chuck
- 1/2 pkg
- lipton beefy onion soup mix for 1 pound burger - whole package for 2 pounds or to taste
- onion - grated
- salt & pepper to taste
Shape into oval patties. However many you're making. I usually make 2 - 3 for the men of my house. They start out pretty big, but as you know they shrink when cooking.
I turn my grill to high.
I coat both sides of meat with olive oil. Salt & pepper. Place on hot grill. I don't touch for 3 - 4 minutes. Turn to other side and cook another 3 - 4 min or until juices run clear.
They should be very juicy as you shouldn't press down on then anytime during grilling. These could be broiled as well.
