Pot Roast with Creamy Gravy

Another oldie but goodie. I've seen some similar ones here but not exactly like it. I specified using a crock pot but you can also cook it in a dutch oven in the oven. Hubby always insists on mashed potatoes and English peas with this and pours the gravy over everything.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

3 or 4 lb
beef roast, whatever you like, i use what's on sale
1 pkg
(1 envelope) onion soup mix
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s)
french onion soup
pepper to taste, no salt!!!!

Directions Step-By-Step

Place the roast in the crock pot.

Mix the rest of the ingredients and pour over the roast. Don't add salt as the soups are all salty.

Cook on high one hour then reduce to low for 8 hours.

It should be fork tender with a nice creamy gravy to ladle over it when served.
