Ingredients

1
(3 lb.) chuck roast
1 pkg
onion soup mix
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1 large
onion, quartered
salt and pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1Sprinkle salt & pepper over the roast on both sides and place in a foil lined roasting pan.

2Mix cream of mushroom soup and onion soup mix together and spread over roast and around sides.

3Flip roast. Arrange onions around the roast and wrap in foil.

4Bake in oven at 325 degrees for 4-5 hours.
