I double sauce and add 6 shakes of tobasco add more if you like spicy.

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb
ground beef
1 large
egg, beaten
1/4 c
water
1 c
rice, cooked, cooled
1 medium
onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
pepper
1/2 tsp
thyme, dried

SAUCE (I DOUBLE THIS)

8 oz
tomato sauce
1 Tbsp
lemon juice
2-3 tsp
brown sugar
3 or more
shakes of tobasco
1 medium
cabbage head

Step-By-Step

1Mix together first ingredients.
2Form 12 meatballs and put in large 5qt pot.
3Mix Sauce ingredients together in large bowl and set aside.
4Shred cabbage over top of meatballs. Pour sauce mix evenly over cabbage
5Bring to boil on stove top. Cover and simmer 1 hour
