Ingredients

1 1/2 lb
ground beef
1 large
egg, beaten
1/4 c
water
1 c
rice, cooked, cooled
1 medium
onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
pepper
1/2 tsp
thyme, dried

SAUCE (I DOUBLE THIS)

8 oz
tomato sauce
1 Tbsp
lemon juice
2-3 tsp
brown sugar
3 or more
shakes of tobasco
1 medium
cabbage head

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix together first ingredients.

Form 12 meatballs and put in large 5qt pot.

Mix Sauce ingredients together in large bowl and set aside.

Shred cabbage over top of meatballs. Pour sauce mix evenly over cabbage

Bring to boil on stove top. Cover and simmer 1 hour
