1Salt and pepper brisket. Brown in oil in skillet over high heat. Place water in pressure cooker. Now place the brisket in the cooker and let pressure rise to 15 lb./sq. inch or 1.05 kg./sq. cm. When pressure is built, time for 45 minutes.
2Quarter the cabbage and place on top of brisket after cooking brisket 45 minutes. Add additional water, if necessary. Let build up again to same pressure and cook an additional 8 minutes.
