85 % lean ground round
8 potato sandwich rolls (using 2 in meatloaf mix
fresh ground black pepper
chopped garlic in food processor
large sweet onion,about 1 cup chopped
finely chopped white mushrooms
slices of cooked bacon divided ( 5 for mix)
grated cheddar cheese
TOP OF BURGER
slices of cheddar cheese for burger top
remaining bacon from above
lettuce and tomato slices for top of burger
Cook the bacon and set aside. Partially cook the onion and chopped mushroom together in a tablespoon of butter and set aside.
divide rolls in half. Dip in the milk. Squeeze out the milk. add to burger in a large bowl. Add the remaining ingredients with the onions,mushrooms,and bacon . Mix well with hands.
Form in to patties and grill to your liking. Top with a slice of Cheddar cheese.
Add lettuce,tomato if desired and serve on a potato roll.
