It's been years since I've eaten a Big Mac™ hamburger. Here's our taco version! ;) If desired, you can shape the ground hamburger into little "baby burgers" and either pan fry or bake. Includes a simplified, homemade recipe for the Special Sauce, too. All ingredient amounts are estimated as are the servings. ¡Viva Takos Tuesday!

1 Tbsp
oil, for frying
1 lb
ground beef
1/2 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp
salt-free garlic powder
8
corn tortilla shells, approximately

SPECIAL SAUCE:

1/2 c

1/2 Tbsp

pinch
salt
2 Tbsp

BIG MAC TOPPINGS:

lettuce leaves (spinach, iceberg, mixed greens, etc.)
grated cheddar cheese
bread and butter pickles
diced onion
white or brown sesame seeds
homemade special sauce™
sliced tomatoes (i think the small grape sized tomatoes are best for this recipe)
fresh cilantro, minced
hot sauce or fresh chili peppers, minced

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Prepare the Special Sauce, cover and refrigerate until ready to eat.
2
Heat up the oil in a pan and cook the ground meat until no longer pink. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and the garlic powder the final few minutes of browning.
3
Place about scant 1/4 cup of the browned meat in each taco shell. Add a spoonful of the Special Sauce then garnish with the Big Mac toppings.
