This is a recipe from my family friend - Mrs. Ewell. When I was born, I was named after her husband - Mister Billy.

Stove Top

Ingredients

1/2 stick
butter
1/2 c
onion
1 lb
round steak, cut in finger size
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
pepper
1/2 tsp
paprika
1 can(s)
cream of celery soup
1 can(s)
cream of chicken soup
1 small
can sliced mushrooms
1 can(s)
sliced water chestnuts
1 c
sour cream
dried noodles
cooked rice

Step-By-Step

1Sauté onions in butter or margarine.
2Mix beef, salt, pepper and paprika.
3Add mixture to onions.
4Cook until the meat is a grayish color.
5Add soups, water chestnuts and mushrooms.
6Cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
7Add sour cream.
8Remove from heat.
9Serve on rice with dried noodles on top.
