Pasta and Tomato with Honey Mustard Sauce

This is a simple vegitarian pasta dish. I came up with the recipes to enter it in a Washington Post recipe contest. It did not win, but it was published in the paper.

Ingredients

2 Tbsp
olive oil
2
garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbsp
balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp
honey
1 Tbsp
mustard
1 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
ground black pepper
8 oz
cooked pasta
8
basil leaves

Step-By-Step

1Heat olive oil in a saute pan and cook chopped garlic 1 minute.

2Roughly chop tomatoes and add to pan. Cook until moisture has reduced.

3Add honey and mustard. Mix and cook two minutes.

4Season with salt and pepper and serve tossed with your favorite pasta topped with finely chopped basil.
