Ingredients For marinated tomatoes

  • 4 lg
    tomatoes, sliced or wedges
  • 1/3 c
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1/4 c
    red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp
    parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp
    onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1 dash
    angostura bitters
  • 2 Tbsp
    basil, fresh
  • 3/4 tsp
    thyme, dried
  • 3
    scallions, sliced thin

How To Make marinated tomatoes

    Arrange sliced or wedged tomatoes in a shallow container.

    Combine remaining ingredients in a small mixing bowl & whisk. Pour over tomatoes. Cover & marinate several hours or overnight for flavors to marry. Enjoy!
