Italian Naan sammie

Make sure you have a napkin or bib on hand, this is awesome and messy. Sweetness from the grape tomatoes, tons of flavor from the infused olive oil, and the twang of the asiago, oh man!!!!

1 c
grape tomatoes, halved
1/4 c
garlic and basil infused olive oil
pcs. naan bread
8 oz
luncheon meat>salami cubed
8 oz
asiago cheese, grated

Directions Step-By-Step

Start by mincing 4 cloves of garlic, add to 1/2c of olive oil, add 2 tsp. of Mrs. Dash tomato and basil seasoning, or plain basil, or italian seasoning. Place in small saucepan and simmer for 20-30 min. DO NOT let garlic burn!!
Half grape tomatoes, grate the Asiago, and cube the salami.
Place salami in skillet with 1/4c infused olive oil and allow to crisp up.
Remove salami, add tomatoes into same skillet. Simmer on very low for about 20-30 min until tomatoes start breaking down, smush tomatoes with a spatula a couple times while cooking.
Preheat oven to 400°. Brush naan bread with the olive oil, sprinkle with cheese, place on lowest rack of oven for about 5-7 min. or till cheese is melted. Remove from oven. Spread on tomatoes, top with grated cheese and salami.
