I don't make this often, but when I do I make it right...through the years I have lighten it up somewhat, however there are KEY ingredients you cannot cut corners on.

Ingredients

1 box
fettucine
8 slice
bacon
1 c
heavy cream
2 c
half and half
2
eggs, beaten
1 c
parmesan cheese
salt/pepper to taste

Step-By-Step

1boil pasta, al dente (slightly firm to the bite)

2meanwhile in a large bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients ( except the bacon) cook bacon till crisp ( I make in the microwave) then drain, let cool and crumble

3drain the pasta and combine with the mixture, as well as the crumbled bacon, place in a large casserole dish, sprinkle with more parmesan cheese, cover and bake at 350 for 20 minutes...stir and enjoy
