Ingredients For spicy cajun shrimp

1/4 cbutter (or margarine)

1 tspchopped fresh thyme leaves*

1/2 tsppepper

1/8 to 1/4 tspcayenne pepper

2 Tbspketchup

1 tspworcestershire sauce

1/2 tspfinely chopped fresh garlic
- KABOBS

1 lbfresh raw shrimp, cleaned, shelled, deveined

8 mdgreen onions, each cut into 3 (2inch) pieces

2 mdlemons, each cut into 6 slices, then cut in half

126 inch wooden skewers, soaked in water
How To Make spicy cajun shrimp

1Heat gas grill on medium or charcoal grill until coals are ash white.

2Meanwhile, combine all sauce ingredients in 1-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 4-5 minutes or until butter is melted.

3To assemble kabobs place 1 shrimp, 1 green onion piece, 1 lemon slice, 1 shrimp and 1 green onion piece on each wooden skewer; brush with sauce. Place kabobs on grill. Grill, brushing with sauce and turning frequently, 6-10 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.

4TIP: *Substitute 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves.
