This recipe has many variations: you can use: 12 oz. pkg. frozen cleaned shrimp cooked and chopped or 2 pkg. 8 oz. ea. sea legs. thawed, drained and chopped or 12 oz. can tuna, drained and flaked or 8 oz. med. or large shrimp, drained and chopped or 12 oz. crabmeat, drained and flaked.

Ingredients For seafood sandwiches

  • 1 pkg
    vegetable soup mix, knorr or lipton mix
  • 3/4 c
    dairy sour cream
  • 1/2 c
    chopped celery
  • 1/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh chopped chives
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • hot pepper sauce to taste
  • 1/8 tsp
    black pepper
  • 12 oz
    thawed and well drained crabmeat
  • 4 md
    hard rolls, slit across middle
  • lettuce leaves

How To Make seafood sandwiches

    In a large bowl, blend soup mix, sour cream, celery, mayonnaise, chives, lemon juice, hot pepper sauce and pepper. Stir in crabmeat; chill. To serve: line rolls with lettuce, then fill with crab mixture.
