My husband said for me not to ever loose this recipe, "Its a keeper" You can adapt to any mild flavered filet, increase amts to per servings

Ingredients For red snapper, baked with taste of fried for 2

  • 1 filet
    red snapper, redfish or tilapia
  • 1
    egg, beaten for drenching
  • 1 c
    milk, 2%, mix well with egg in bowl
  • 1 c
    flour ( dry ingred in qt or gal size baggie)
  • 1/2 tsp
    italian seasoning or seafood seasoning
  • 1 dash
    salt and pepper
  • 1 pkg
    panko bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp
    evo or spray pay with oil

How To Make red snapper, baked with taste of fried for 2

    Rinse fish under clear water, pat dry. Add seasonings to flour in a quart baggie, then coat fish in quart size baggie
  • 2
    dip coated fish in egg and milk wash, then redip in seasoned flour baggie
  • 3
    in panko japanese bread crumbs ( one filet per 1/2 pkg) coat the floured fish filets.

    place in oiled sprayed tin foil lined pan and bake til fork shows white firm fish. Approx 10 mins at 350, preheated toaster or conventional oven

    serves well with brown rice and 3 bean salad for taste and texture contrasts.

    May use same technique for shrimp
