Healthier and tastier way to serve fish. I have also used flounder, catfish, grouper, perch and tilapia with great results.If your fish is not getting crispy try broiling it for a minute or so to get it crispy. Oh and parmesan from a can is ok but treat yourself and use freshly grated. You will be oh so happy you did. Photo by Marg (CaymanDesigns)

Ingredients For parmesan baked fish

  • 1 lb
    sole fillets
  • 2 Tbsp
    dry bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp
    paprika
  • 1 dash
    black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp
    snipped parsley

How To Make parmesan baked fish

  • 1
    Cut fish into 4 serving pieces. Combine bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, basil, paprika, and pepper. Mix well.

    Brush one side of each piece with yogurt; dip into crumb mixture; place in oil-sprayed baking pan coated side up.

    Bake uncovered on rack slightly above middle of oven at 500 F for 10 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with fork.

    Sprinkle with parsley (optional)
