The summer is quickly approaching. Who wants to spend alot in the kithen. This light meal will be ready in 10 minutes! Just serve it up with a nice green salad and a glass of refreshing moscato. Sit on your patio and enjoy your evening. Happy Cooking! sw:)

Ingredients For pan seared cod and shrimp

  • 1 lb
    cod, fillets (cut into 4 fillets)
  • 1/2 lb
    uncooked shrimp
  • 2 tsp
    herbes de provence
  • 1 tsp
    old bay seasoning
  • 1 md
    lemon juice, fresh
  • 1/2 c
    white wine, dry
  • 1/2 c
    chicken broth, low salt
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • pepper to taste

How To Make pan seared cod and shrimp

    Lightly brush fish fillets with 1/3 olive oil.

    Sprinkle herbs, old bay and pepper on both sides of fish.

    In a heated skillet, add remining olive oil. Lightly brown fish and shrimp. This should take about 2-3 minutes. Turn. Add lemon juice, wine and chicken broth. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until done.

    Remove fish to a warm plate. Reduce sauce and pour over fish.
