Creamy Tuna over Tomatoes

This a good quick and inexpensive meal. My mother-in-law used to fix this and it is really good. I don't know anyone else that makes it.

Ingredients

1/4 c
bacon grease
1/4 c
flour
1 1/4 c
milk
1/4 tsp
salt and pepper
1 can(s)
tuna drained
3-4
fresh tomatoes sliced thick

Step-By-Step

1Heat bacon grease in a cast iron skillet. Add the flour and stir until smooth and starts to bubble about 1 minute

2Add the warm milk slowly and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to a low simmer and stir, until thickened

3Stir in the salt. pepper, and tuna

4Place sliced tomatoes on your plate and cover with gravy like you would for biscuits and gravy
