A couple of ladies on here were talking about what they remember their mothers making using soup.
I had not thought about what similar meals we had, and after having wonderful memories stirred up I decided to post what my mom use to make here....sorry no pictures to go along :-(
This is from memory...so I hope I remember it correctly..:-)))

- two large cans of tuna - drained
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1/2 can milk
- 1/4 onion chopped
- 1/4 green pepper chopped
- 4 slices american cheese
- 4 large rolls
- salt and pepper
1Drain the tuna well.
2Fry the onion and green pepper in a small amount of butter.
3Mix the soup with the milk. Add the onions and peppers. Mix, add the tuna. Add some salt and pepper.
4Cut the rolls in 1/2, top with the tuna mixture, and top with cheese.
5Place under the broiler till the cheese has melted.
