Ingredients For ginger glazed salmon

    salmon filets, skin removed
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh lime juice
  • 2
    jalapeno chile peppers, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/2 c
    fresh parsley
  • 2 c
    mint leaves, fresh
  • 2 c
    cilantro leaves
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • SAUCE INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 tsp
    freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    olive oil
  • 1 tsp
    ginger, grated
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar, dark and firmly packed
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp
    lime peel, grated
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • GLAZE INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper

How To Make ginger glazed salmon

    Make Ginger Glaze: Combine all glaze ingredients in small bowl.

    Place salmon in shallow glass dish and spoon on glaze, turning to coat. (Can be made ahead. Refrigerate up to 24 hours.)

    Heat broiler.

    Line jelly-roll pan with foil.

    Arrange salmon on prepared pan and spoon glaze on top.

    Broil 4 inches from heat without turning until fish is opaque throughout, 8 to 10 minutes.

    Let stand 5 minutes.

    Serve with Green Herb Sauce.

    Green Herb Sauce: Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth, scraping down sides.
