"Fried" Fish Fillets are just like the fried fish you were used to growing up as a kid, except they aren't fried! These are breaded & baked fish fillets that have a perfect crunch on the outside & tenderness on the inside. They'll never know it's not "fried".

Ingredients For "fried" fish fillets

1 1/2 lbthick fish fillets (your favorite), cut bite size

1 1/4 cmilk
-
3 Tbspall purpose flour
-
1/2 tspdill
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/8 tsppepper
- TOPPING:

2 Tbspbutter
-
1/2 cbread crumbs, dry
-
1/4 tsppoultry seasoning
-
1 tspparsley flakes
-
1/2 tsponion powder
-
1/8 tsppepper
How To Make "fried" fish fillets

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

2Place fish pieces in ungreased shallow 2 qt casserole dish.

3Whisk milk into flour in small saucepan until no lumps remain.

4Add dill weed, salt & pepper. Heat & stir until boiling & thickened. Pour over fish.

5FOR TOPPING: Melt margarine in small saucepan. Mix in remaining 5 ingredients. Sprinkle over sauce.

6Bake, uncovered, for about 40 minutes until fish flakes when tested with fork.
