Fresh Tuna and Peas

Ingredients

16 oz
peas, frozen
1/4 c
olive oil
1 small
finely chopped onion
1
garlic clove, finely chopped
1 Tbsp
fresh parsley, chopped
28 oz
tomatoes italian style
2 lb
tuna steaks, cut into 1" cubes
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
pepper

Step-By-Step

1Rinse peas under cold water to separate.

2Drain.

3Heat oil in 12" skillet over medium high heat.

4Saute onion, garlic and parsley in oil.

5Stir in peas.

6Cook, uncovered, over medium heat 4 minutes.

7Stir in tomatoes, tuna, salt and pepper.

8Break up tomatoes.

9Cover and cook 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with fork.
