Fish In Tomato Wine Sauce

Ingredients

1 medium
diced onion
2
minced garlic cloves
2 Tbsp
fresh basil leaves, chopped
8 oz
tomato sauce
1/2 c
tomato paste
3/4 c
water
1/2 c
dry white wine
1 tsp
oregano
freshly ground black pepper
1.5 lb
flounder filets

Step-By-Step

1In very large skillet, saute onion, garlic until tender.
2Add basil and saute for another few minutes.
3Add everything else except fish.
4Bring to a boil and stir so that paste is mixed in.
5Simmer on low for 10-15 minutes.
6Add fish and simmer for an additional
15 minutes or until fish is completely cooked.
