Easy, easy Asian Tilapia in Microwave

Marsha Gardner

My friend Pan Hui who has a couple of Chinese Restaurants passed this easy way of cooking Tilapia to me.

It is more of a technique than a recipe, you adjust for amount you are cooking.

I serve with rice, vegetable and a nice salad.

pinch tips: How to Freeze Fish, Meat & Poultry

tilapia fillets
ginger, cut into slivers
green onions, slice on diagonal
1-2 Tbsp
soy sauce
1/4 tsp
sesame oil
1-2 Tbsp
canola oil

Directions Step-By-Step

Lay Tilapia fillets on a plate. Sprinkle with green onion and ginger. Drizzle soy, sesame oil and canola over top.
Cover plate with plastic wrap, leaving a small area unsealed. Microwave in 1 minute increments until fish is white all the way through.
Serve and congratulate yourself on the easiest fish dish you have ever prepared and it didn't stink up the house because of the ginger.
Garnish with more green onion if desired.
