Crispy Oven-Fried Fish (low fat)

- fresh or frozen skinless cod,orange roughy,or catfish fillets
- 1/4 c
- 1/3 c
- all purpose flour
- 1/3 c
- fine dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 tsp
- dried dill
- 1/8 tsp
- black pepper
- 2 Tbsp
- butter or margarine,melted
1Thaw fish,if frozen.
Rinse fish;pat dry with paper towels.
Cut into 4 serving size pieces,if necessary.
Measure the thickness of each piece.
Place milk in a shallow dish.
Place flour in another shallow dish.
In a 3rd dish combine bread crumbs,Parmesan cheese,dill, and pepper.
Add melted butter;stir until combined.
2Dip fish in the milk;coat with flour.
Dip again in milk,then bread crumb mixture.
Place fish on a greased baking sheet.
Bake,uncovered,in a 450 oven for 4-6 minutes per 1/2" thickness or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
