Cool & Creamy Crabby Salad with Zing

I love a good crab salad and I love the combo of horsey and cayenne with the creaminess of sour cream and cream cheese topped with chili sauce.

I was so looking forward to making this but when I got it all done and put it in the pita I couldn't get it to look like I wanted it to. So, here you have my entry for a kickin' salad though I am not pleased with presentation I am with the taste. I could have made it much more presentable on a bed of lettuce and so therefore I was frustrated. Next time I make it I will add to lettuce and take pics. Hope you enjoy.

Ingredients

6 oz
lump crab meat
1/3 c
cream cheese
1/3 c
sour cream
1/4 c
diced celery
2 Tbsp
chopped onion
3 Tbsp
horseradish
1/4 tsp
onion powder
1/2 tsp
beau monde seasoning
1 tsp
worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp
cayenne pepper
pita pockets or chopped up bed of lettuce

MIX TOGETHER

1/4 c
chili sauce
1 tsp
thai garlic chili sauce (mixed in with other chili sauce)
fresh chopped chives (garnish with)

Step-By-Step

1Mix together your sour cream and cream cheese and add all your seasonings, sauces, and horsey except for chili sauces and chives. Add in your lumpy crab meat and mix together well. Cut your pita in half and scoop in mixture.
2Now spoon some of the two combined chili sauces top of crab mixture and sprinkle with chives.
3You could eat this on crackers, in a pita or on a bed of lettuce.
