Chop Suey with Tuna

Ingredients

celery ribs, chopped
1/2
finely chopped onion
3/16 tsp
pepper
2 Tbsp
soy sauce
2 c
water
2 Tbsp
water
3/4 c
rice
3/4 c
tuna

Step-By-Step

1Cook celery and onion in 2 tablespoons water over low heat, covered.
2When tender, remove from heat, add rice, 2 cup water and seasonings.
3Bring to a boil.
4Turn heat to low and cook covered, until rice is tender and liquid absorbed (about 1/2 hour).
5Add tuna.
6Mix and remove from heat.
7Set aside, covered, for a few minutes before serving.
