broiled salmon

Fast, easy, little prparation needed. I probably ransacked most of the ingredients for the sauce from some other recipe and added a few new ones. So, what else is new? I like to serve this with baked (or microwaved) sweet potatoes and a vegetable.

Ingredients For broiled salmon

  • Two lb
    salmon filets
  • Two Tbsp
    lite soy sauce
  • Two Tbsp
    olive oil
  • Two Tbsp
    lemon juice (bottled is fine)
  • One Tbsp
    chopped garlic
  • Two pinch
    dried dill

How To Make broiled salmon

  • 1
Combine soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and dill in a small bowl and mix thoroughly.
  • 2
Place salmon fillets in a broiler pan, flesh side up. (I like to scrape the scales off first, since I prefer to eat the skin, too.) Spoon about half of sauce onto fish, and broil until skin is opaque (about 5 minutes).
  • 3
Turn fish and spoon the rest of the sauce onto the skin. Broil until done (about another 5 minutes.)
