Ingredients For battered fish fry
- FISH SOAK:

4fish filets, your choice

milk, enough to cover fish

2 Tbsplemon juice
-
all purpose flour
- BATTER:

1/2 cbisquick
-
1/2 cself rising flour

1 tspseasoning salt
-
1 Tbspsugar

1 x lgegg
-
2 Tbspcorn oil
-
6 ozclub soda
-
1/2 tsplemon zest, grated

1/4 tsponion powder
-
1/4 tspsalt
How To Make battered fish fry

1FISH SOAK: Place fish in bowl & add enough milk to cover the fish & keep it submerged. Add lemon juice to help tenderize the fish. Cover & refrigerate 3 - 4 hours. Drain well & dip fish in flour to coat lightly.

2In a large bowl, add flour, seasoned salt & sugar; mix well & set aside.

3In another bowl, beat egg & corn oil; mix well & then add club soda. Add to flour mixture & add lemon zest, onion powder & salt.

4Let fish dry a few minutes. Heat oil in deep fryer to 425 degrees F. Dip fish in prepared batter & catch drips in batter bowl. Fry 4 minutes or until brown & puffed up. Keep warm in oven on 275 degrees F. until all fish is done.
