Ingredients For baked salmon w/ horseradish sauce

  • 1 lb
    salmon fillet, cut into 4 pieces
  • 1
    shallot, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    white wine
  • 2 Tbsp
    mayonnaise, fat-free
  • 2 Tbsp
    sour cream, fat-free
  • 2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    horseradish, prepared (not creamy sauce)

How To Make baked salmon w/ horseradish sauce

    HORSERADISH SAUCE: In a small bowl, combine mayo, sour cream, lemon juice & horseradish; mix well. Refrigerate until ready to use. NOTE: Can be made the day ahead for flavors to marry.

    FISH: Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Spray a shallow baking dish with cooking spray.

    Place fillets, skin side down, in the pan. Sprinkle shallots over fillets; pour wine evenly over all. Bake 6 - 8 minutes or until fish is opaque.

    Transfer salmon/shallots to serving plates. Top each serving with a heaping tbsp of horseradish sauce.
