Ingredients

  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil, extra-virgin
  • 1 teaspoon cilantro, dried
  • 1/4 cup sour cream, fat-free
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise, fat-free
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 8 ounces lump crab meat
  • 2 avocados
  • SERVE ON (OPTIONAL):
  • salad greens

How To Make avocado & crab salad

  • Step 1
    In a medium bowl, combine onion, juice, oil, cilantro, sour cream, mayo, salt & pepper; stir to combine. Add crab & toss well.
  • Step 2
    Cut avocado open, remove pit & with big spoon, spoon out avocado. Cut into large chunks & add to crab mixture. Mix carefully, DO NOT MASH THE AVOCADO. If desired, spoon back into avocado shells & eat away or lay on a bed of salad greens & enjoy!
