Zippy Chicken Dumpling Stew

I usually double this recipe to have leftovers or share with co-workers,it is a deliciously unique "stoup" If you double,use a dutch oven versus the 3qt. saucepan :)

2 c
diced cooked chicken
2 c
chicken broth
2 c
vegetable juice
1 pkg
frozen cut green beans(9oz)
1 c
diced potato
1/2 c
chopped celery and onion( each)
2 tsp
chili powder
few dash(es)
hot pepper sauce
1 c
shredded cheddar cheese
bisquik (dumpling recipe from box)
1 tsp
parsley (optional)


1In a 3qt saucepan combine first 10 ingredients,season with a dash of salt if desired.Bring to a boil reduce heat,cover and simmer 5-8 min.until veggies are almost tender.Meanwhile mix the dumpling recipe from bisquik box.Stir in 1/2 cup of the cheese and the parsley.Drop dough into bubbling stew.Cover tightly and simmer 12 min.DO NOT LIFT COVER!! Sprinkle with remaining cheese and serve.
