Loved these bbq sandwiches Jenni. Also forgot to post, I used Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce (the regular original sauce).

I forgot to add, I did cook the chicken and sauce on a low setting, for the first 6 hours.

I made this for todays' lunch, and I was blown away as to how good these bbq sandwiches were. Not only was the sauce rich and really tasty, but the chicken was very tender and juicy, but I think that's because the chicken was cooked while it was still frozen. I was surprised that the frozen chicken was cooked through within 6 hours. I did use 4 chicken breasts (2-1/4 lbs. total), but I think I could of added 5. I also prepared a batch and a half of the sauce ingredients. I did not shred the chicken, but rather sliced the chicken breasts extremely thin. After adding the thinly sliced chicken back to the crock, I covered it, and cooked it on high for another 30 minutes, to heat it all thoroughly through. Served this on Premium Onion Rolls which I purchased from Aldi's, but I also think Kaiser Rolls would do well with this recipe. I am looking forward to eating the remaining leftover. Also, I can't believe how easy this recipe was to make such delicious tasting bbq sandwiches. Thank you Jenni for sharing this recipe. This recipe is definitely a keeper!!
