Susan's Notes:

No excuses for dinner if you use this trick to make delicious pot pie!

Don't have cooked chicken? Use canned, or a store-bought rotisserie chicken.

Directions

1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Place chicken in a greased, deep dish 2-quart casserole. Add thawed vegetables. Season with salt and pepper if desired (omit salt if using canned chicken).
2
Pour canned soup over all and stir gently to mix. Top evenly with biscuits. Brush biscuits with melted butter or cream if desired.
3
Bake for 25 minutes until biscuits are well-browned. Allow to rest 5 minutes before serving.

That's funny and I just bought Progresso thick and hearty split pea and ham soup in a can last night. I also bought some mini phyllo dough circle ones i should have experimented and put some of the soup in the phyllo dough with some extra's and baked them in the oven but too late now. Sorry I have been so busy working and taking this college course i have not had time to check my messages. Cooking for me lately has been on the go meals; last night soup; tonight was three bean salad and a green salad. Oh and don't ever buy three bean salad in a can how disgusting that was.
