A friend of mine brought this to a party and was kind enough to give me the recipe. As usual I tweaked it a bit and it quickly became a family favorite. Great on a cold Colorado evening. I cut down on the jalapenos if kids are eating it.
In 5 quart dutch oven saute onion and garlic in oil until tender. Combine seasonings in small bowl; add half of the mixed seasonings to onions, garlic, and oil. Saute for one minute. Add sausage & chicken and coat with remaining seasonings. Cook until browned. Add beans and broth and bring to a boil. Simmer for two hours
Stir in chilies, jalapenos, and undiluted soup ( cream chicken soup). Simmer another hour.
Top with cheese and sour cream. Serve with tortillas or tortilla chips.
