Ingredients For turkey brine

2 galwater, cold
-
1 - 10 oz bottlesoy sauce

1/2 ckosher salt
-
1/2 csugar
-
2 Tbspsage, dried
-
2 Tbspcelery seed
-
1 Tbspthyme, dried
-
5 clovegarlic, smashed
-
16 - 24 lbturkey
How To Make turkey brine

1The night before roasting, remove giblets & neck; rinse inside & out.

2In a large stockpot or clean 5 gallon bucket; mix all ingredients together. Stir well until salt & sugar is dissolved.

3Add turkey in pot, cover & refrigerate overnight or at least 8 hours. NOTE: If frigerator is not big enough...you can place the bucket outside if it's cold enough. About 35 degrees would be perfect so it doesn't freeze but is cold enough to keep it cold.

4Remove turkey from the brine, rinse well. Follow your regular cooking recipe directions.
