Ingredients

boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1
med-lrg jar salsa (about 24oz)
1 pkg
taco seasoning

Directions Step-By-Step

Place chicken in crockpot.

Combine the salsa and taco seasoning (if you have kids that don't like the "chunks" - just blend the two ingredients in the blender)

Pour over chicken and cook on low for about 5.5 hours and then shred the chicken and cook for about an hour more.

Add shredded cheese before serving, if desired.

Serve over rice, or chips or in soft tacos or enchiladas. Freezes well too.
