Super Simple Fried Chicken
chicken pieces (leg, thighs, your choice)
all purpose white flour
salt and pepper
ADDING THE CHICKEN WHEN THE OIL IS NOT HEATED YOU WILL END UP WITH GREASY SOGGY CHICKEN, TURNING THE CHICKEN TO OFTEN WILL CAUS THE SKIN TO FALL OFF.
1pour oil into frying pan, about a quarter up from the bottom, start heating the oil on medium high heat.
2put flour in a flat plate or pie tin, making sure you have enough to coat the chicken.
3take a cleaned chicken piece and roll it around in the flour until well coated, shake off any extra flour from the piece, place chicken piece into the heated fry pan, repeat until you have all the pieces in the pan,salt and pepper, let fry for a while then turn,repeat, about 30-35 minutes no longer pink and golden brown.

Yep I do this also onloy putting my Flour in zip lock bag to Coat my Chicken and Sometimes I add Garlic to the Flour with the Salt and the Pepper. No Extra dishes to Wash this way. only a fry Pan.

Sheila,O.M.G.!!! This is the only way I know to make fried chicken,too!!I thought only my mother did this!I've seen tons of recipes for fried chicken and they never did it the simple way...and it IS the best!Just thought I'd comment.-Robin
