This the only way I have ever saw my parents and grandma's make fried chicken. so i grew up eating it and make it the same way today.

Ingredients

chicken pieces (leg, thighs, your choice)
all purpose white flour
oil
salt and pepper

ADDING THE CHICKEN WHEN THE OIL IS NOT HEATED YOU WILL END UP WITH GREASY SOGGY CHICKEN, TURNING THE CHICKEN TO OFTEN WILL CAUS THE SKIN TO FALL OFF.

Directions Step-By-Step

pour oil into frying pan, about a quarter up from the bottom, start heating the oil on medium high heat.

put flour in a flat plate or pie tin, making sure you have enough to coat the chicken.

take a cleaned chicken piece and roll it around in the flour until well coated, shake off any extra flour from the piece, place chicken piece into the heated fry pan, repeat until you have all the pieces in the pan,salt and pepper, let fry for a while then turn,repeat, about 30-35 minutes no longer pink and golden brown.
